A patron who had ordered a custom dinner service came into our studio and asked us to make a gift for his wife. They had been married for 50 years, and he wanted a special gift to honor their marriage. He asked for a plate, with their names and their wedding date inscribed in the center. His wife loved the gift, and when the couple’s granddaughter was getting married, they ordered a plate for her. |
| These 14” plates are handcrafted, one at a time, of white stoneware clays, and are fired to a temperature of 2300F. They are decorated with non-toxic glazes and are safe to use in dishwashers, and both conventional and microwave ovens. |
