The Village of Peninsula, OH, population 602, is a great place to be. We have known it for a long time, and now, Ohio Magazine has made it public.
The nomination for this designation was spearheaded by the Peninsula Valley Historic and Education Foundation. Merchants, residents, non-profit organizations and Village government worked with the Foundation to make this honor happen. On Thursday evening, November 29 at 6:00 pm, during the Peninsula Area Chamber of Commerce’s Candlelight Walk, Ohio Magazine representatives will present the Village with this award.
If you’re in our neck of the woods, or are considering a road trip, stop in and see us. We will offer you home baked cookies and a cup of our delicious hot cider.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment, or a stone, (o), to let me know you’ve stopped by.
