Taking the time to really look at one’s environment is an interesting thing. I’ve decided to do that in the studio and have discovered beauty in many places. Take a look.

    Debra, these photos and the preceding video that “take a closer look” are just beautiful. I haven’t had my coffee yet, was just dragging this morning, and visiting your blog was a lovely reminder to notice all of the beauty around me. Thanks for a nice start to my day, and for turning around my grumpy attitude!

    I love this idea of a closer look! Also, you make gorgeous pottery. Once I got to watch a potter do his magic and make a beautiful jar out of a lump of clay and I’ve been fascinated ever since. It was pure art.
