My Town Monday: S-N-O-W

The snows fell fast and furious on February 5-6, 2010. Predictions were from 2-4 inches in our area; the Southeastern part of the country was predicted to receive 30 inches of snow and sleet.We received 10-12 inches of the white stuff—-heavy and wet snow covered the roads and everything else.  Here’s a look.

    Wow! Pretty. We only got a dozen flakes of snow in S.E. Michigan the last few days. Not that I’m complaining. I’d rather look at pictures of snowfall like this than have to trudge through it!

    It’s beautiful. Word has it, we’re getting 8 inches on Tuesday. I’ll believe it when I see it. Snowpack is important for us, and we have none.

    Beautiful! Our next storm comes in tomorrow night, I believe. Have the birds figured the way into the feeder yet?

    Nice if you don’t have to drive in it.

    Gads, I’m so GLAD I don’t have to deal w/that kind of stuff anymore! I still have horrible memories of the historic, 5-flake-rated “Bald Eagle” snowstorm of ’01-’02;
