It is pitiful that in our nation which, if a dirt-poor debtor in the money sense, is rich in its agricultural bounty, so many are hungry. I saw an article recently that we Americans waste 40% of our food. I don't think our household record on that beats the national average. As I've probably mentioned in the past, our efforts to help the hungry are done locally, much as yours are. It all seems overwhelming. Hunger is everywhere.
