Yesterday in Garden Henge

I spent some time in the garden yesterday, a welcome respite from the events of the past few weeks. What a wonderful place to be, feet planted firmly on the ground, feeling the energy of the earth.  Here are some photos so you can see how my garden grows. As always, feel free to leave me a comment, or a stone (o) to let me know you have been here.

    Ah, gardening.

I’ve been a lazy gardener this summer, have done exactly no weeding, no pruning, no nothing. I can lay it off on having lots of company, various backache days, my hurting tooth times, but, in the end, it just represents abject laziness.

Good on you and your gardening.

I am not a gardener, but I can understand how calming and centering it must be for my friends who do garden. Such lovely photos! :)

Ooh, lovely: nasturtiums, basil, and sunflowers. Here it’s been raining almost non-stop ALL SUMMER LONG. All I’ve got in my garden is slugs.
