Late July harvest from the mandala garden of Debra Bures, of Elements Gallery, Peninsula, OH's

The mandala garden is in bloom, and Nature is sharing her bounty. Each year, I am reminded what happens when it rains for 2 days and I forget to go out and check the zucchini plants. Humbling…

    It’s going to make for good eats at your house this month. The zucchini appears to have been slipped some steroids.

    It’s what happens when it rains for 2 days and you forget to go outside to check. And you should see the one I missed!

    I’ve heard that some folks actually consider zucchini to be food.

    Those who grow zucchini always seem to be trying, with much energy, to give it away. I’ve always wondered about this.
