		<description>Thank you all for you most kind words. The designs are carved into wet clay; then they are fired to about 1700 degreesF.  Colorants are then inlaid into the carved areas, the excess is removes, the the glaze is applied over it. The piece is then fired.

I feel like a gardener, rudeek.
I have an affinity to Oriental design, Cat. I like the proportion, and composition, the way all the elements move through space.
I will have to look up  Oribe-yaki, Mary.</description>
