On this most amazing day, I want to share a poem by ee cummings that is dear to me.
for this most amazing day
for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
for the blue true dream of sky
for everything that is infinite
that is natural
that is YES
My good friend Lisa wrote about this day. I am passing it forward—-both the exuberance of youth and the wisdom of experience.

I love “Peace Train.” Great film clips. Thanks. And some nice words. Feels good, eh?

Great video clips, I’d forgotten how captivating Cat Stevens was as a youth: such energy and passion. I just watched your new President’s first speech it looks to me like we’re all booked on the Peace Train

Thank you, Debra — that was a fine speech, wasn’t it?
And isn’t it wonderful to have a president who can deliver a speech with such oratorical skill and passion? Who can manage to say so much so well — and not once smirk or falter or look foolish? What a great change this makes. I’ll be rooting for him all the way.
