Sadly, our car broke down before Christmas and the repair bill totally wiped out our holiday budget, but we played cards, ate sandwiches, and sang carols together and you're right -- it was still magic. In fact, we had a better Christmas this year than we did last year, when we had a Christmas tree, nice presents, and enough money to cover it all! The best part of it was spending the day together and the entire family getting along. Happy New Year to you, Debra! We had pita bread and yogurt here too!
