Six-Word Memoirs

The story goes like this: Ernest Hemingway was asked to write a novel using only six words. He obliged: “For sale: baby shoes. Never used.” Smith Magazine challenged it’s readers to do the same. The readers acquiesced, coming up with a plethora of stories. What would your six-word memoir say?

    Here’s my memoir:

    I tried, and I had fun.

    That’s it!

    I’ve done 50-word stories before. They are absolutely excruciating for a wind-bag like me, but writing them is a useful exercise.
