Being Part of a Global Dialogue

A while back I happened upon a pretty amazing site, Dropping Knowledge . Dropping Knowledge describes itself :
dropping knowledge encourages social change. Using advanced web technologies, the initiative with offices in Berlin, Germany and Cambridge, MA, USA, links the voices of individuals and organizations. The web-platform enables the global public to ask and answer questions, exchange ideas, and start initiatives around the most pressing issues of our time. Events like the Table of Free Voices, campaigns like “ask yourself” and projects in cooperation with different partners create a meaningful bridge between the on and offline worlds.

Once again, it’s about connecting with folks all over the world to learn, explore and share. To ask questions and to question answers. Just like that. Being the change.

Absolutely fascinating and thoughtfully serious, I think you need a good amount of time to explore these issues. Yet how cool is it that anyone in the world can ask a question and have someone else — from who knows where — come up with a possible answer?

Hmm, do you search for sites on “changing the world,” Debra?

Great link Debra. Knowledge is a form of power..personal power..and opens the mind to fresh ideas, new ways of thinking.

Larramie–it is an incredible tool, isn’t it. Don’t know how I find these sites….. they just kinda show up.

I agree, Sherry, and how cool is it to link up with folks from all over the world.
