About Creativity
I have always felt that everyone is creative. Dictionary.com(v 1.1) defines creativity as:
cre·a·tiv·i·ty /ËŒkrieɪˈtɪvɪti, ËŒkriÉ™-/ Pronunciation Key – Show Spelled Pronunciation[kree-ey-tiv-i-tee, kree-uh-] Pronunciation Key – Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. the state or quality of being creative.
2. the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination: the need for creativity in modern industry; creativity in the performing arts.
3. the process by which one utilizes creative ability: Extensive reading stimulated his creativity.
[Origin: 1870–75; creative
Creativity manifests in a whole variety of ways. Some, like the making of things, are obvious. Some, like parenting children, have ramifications that extend beyond our lives. Others, like Lisa’s post are beautifully practical. We generate alternative solutions to problems we encounter. We engage in different avenues at different times of our lives.
TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) “… is devoted to giving millions of knowledge-seekers around the globe direct access to the world’s greatest thinkers and teachers.” It is an incredible resource. I have been perusing the Creative Spark theme.
Let me know what you think.

i am not sure creativity is a thing. what is it that we are all talking about. do we only live and make the best of what we see?
