I went to the center of the Oval and stood silently. A moment later a woman approached me and asked if I was standing. Then another woman approached, and another and another. Soon and man and a woman joined us. There were 8 of us standing quietly, bearing witness, standing for peace, justice and the right to be. Quietly and purposefully.
