Standing

Today, at 1:00pm, I will go to Wade Oval in Cleveland’s beautiful University Circle, and stand quietly for 5 minutes. I will be joining women all over the world in bearing witness for change. I will stand for peace, for non-violence and for loving acceptance of the beauty of the Universe. I’ll let you know how it goes.

    So how did it feel?

I didn’t stand, but I did some yoga later in the day.

    xo Happy Belated Mother’s Day…

It was pretty cool. I went to the center of the Oval and stood silently. A moment later a woman approached me and asked if I was standing. Then another woman approached, and another and another. Soon and man and a woman joined us. There were 8 of us standing quietly, bearing witness, standing for peace, justice and the right to be. Quietly and purposefully. Amazing.
ps Happy Belated Mom’s Day to you, too
