Our New Home

Discovering a sense of place is an interesting journey we spend hours in our lives finding the right places: home, partners, jobs, careers, philosophies. So here we are in this new place, where we share our thoughts, our process as we continue on this path; as we explore our world through our hands, hearts and minds.

Creativity

Yesterday started with a bit of sunshine; the mackerel sky told me that the weather was about to change before I had the chance to glance at the newspaper. Sure enough, as the day progressed, the clouds rolled in, followed by amazing  Spring storms. The old apple tree that sits outside the kitchen window, a kids climbing dream, had green promises of leaves on its branches.

The storms not only brought a deluge of rain, but an incredible burst of green energy. This morning, the old apple tree is sporting pink blossoms, waiting to open and grace us with their beauty.

It occurs to me that creativity is just like that. When it’s ready. In its own time. The seeds are always there. In all of us. Just waiting for the moment to be right.
